The striking geometric pattern of our Mahina Recycled Cushion Cover is skilfully made from recycled PET plastic. The material is tactile and practical, the yarns are skilfully woven in a traditional way, to create this eye – catching pattern. The reverse of the cushion is made from canvas.
The Details
Recycled polyester, also known as PET, is obtained by melting down existing plastic (largely plastic bottles) and re-spinning it into new polyester fibre, this can then be used to create new products. Recycled polyester gives a second life to a material that is not biodegradable; it has a soft, tactile feel very similar to cotton.
Care Instructions: Please wipe clean spots and marks with a damp cloth. These products are water resistant and can be used outside in summer months.
