The wonderful, Indra Coil Basket is handmade by NGO supporting rural craftswomen. They are naturally dyed, hand spun and woven using natural fibres. The baskets made up of a series of coils in this rigid shape. The handles are hand stitched from goat leather, naturally dyed with tree bark and vegetable extract.

The beautiful hand stitched handles are made from goats leather, naturally dyed with tree bark and vegetable extract.

THE DETAILS

The stylish coil baskets are handmade by a collective of craftswomen in southern India. Established by NGO to provide sustainable livelihood projects for women who previously depended upon seasonal labour in drought prone areas.

Clean spill immediately by blotting with clean sponge or cloth. Colours may fade in direct sunlight.
