The base is crafted from aluminium using a traditional sandcast technique. Molten metal is poured into a mould formed from tightly packed sand and left to cool before being carefully revealed. The thick marble top is equally individual, with natural variations in tone, veining and pattern ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
