About Our Body Wash Workshop

In this engaging session, you’ll step into a lab-style environment to formulate your very own luxurious foaming body wash. Using high-quality, sustainable ingredients, you’ll be guided through the process of blending your bespoke creation – choosing from an inspiring selection of 25 expertly curated fragrances.

Once settled in the lab, you’ll explore the fascinating world of fragrance. You’ll be introduced to the science of scent, and gain insight into how fine fragrances are composed. We will then delve into exploring our curated selection of 25 fragrances to find your perfect match for your bespoke body wash creation.

Measuring during our Body Wash Workshop

Using our carefully selected lab equipment, you’ll measure, mix and blend high quality, sustainable ingredients. This fully hands on experience offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes in cosmetic formulation – you’ll be guided through the artisanal process to create your own body wash.

Your unique body wash complete, you will complete the process by adding the finishing touches, including bottling, naming and labelling your creation to take home.

To round off the experience, you’ll have time to ask questions, browse the shop, and soak in the beautiful UNESCO heritage setting. As a parting gift, your invited to enjoy an exclusive 10% workshop discount throughout the shop.

About Our Candle Making Workshop

Discover the art of candle making in this relaxed, hands-on workshop. Choose your favourite scent, pour your own two candles using premium ingredients, and enjoy a creative experience with two handcrafted candles to take home.

Once settled into the workshop, you’ll be introduced to our curated fragrance collection and explore a range of carefully selected scents. With guidance throughout, you’ll discover the notes and character of each fragrance before choosing the one that will bring your candle to life.

Choosing Your Candle Style

You’ll be able to choose the candle glass for your two candles, with options available on the day.

Whether you prefer to make a matching pair or two different scents, this part of the workshop helps shape the candles you’ll create.

FAQ's

Unfortunately not. The fragrance oils we use have been fully tested with our products and using oils from an unknown source can cause skin irritations and may not be compatible with our raw materials.

The minimum age is 18. As the workshop is in a lab environment you will be working with raw materials and heating appliances which unfortunately is not safe for children.

Yes free parking is available

Just your glasses if you need them, and a hair tie or clip to keep your hair back during the workshop. Everything else will be provided!

Yes, teas, coffees, and biscuits are provided for all workshops. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance

Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes before your workshop starts so you have a little time to get settled. No need to come earlier, as we may still be setting up the studio!

We’ll start the class on time, so please do your best to arrive promptly.

If you’re running late, just give us a quick heads-up on the shop phone 01952 884848.

We want to make sure everyone gets the most out of the workshop.

Working with your hands can get a little messy, so we recommend not wearing your best clothes to class – aprons will be provided to help keep you protected.

Wear something comfortable but not too loose, as flowing clothing can be a fire hazard when working with tools and heat.

For safety reasons, please avoid sandals or open-toe
