Candle Sand

Create your own candle, your way, with our unscented candle sand — a reusable powdered candle wax that you simply pour into a suitable heat-safe vessel, add a wick, and light.

Unlike a traditional poured candle, candle sand gives you the freedom to choose your own container and refresh the candle as you use it. Once the wax around the wick has melted and cooled, simply remove the hardened wax disc, add a new wick, and continue using the remaining sand.

Each 500g pouch includes 20 wicks, giving you plenty of uses from one bag.

Use it unscented for a clean, simple candle, or add your favourite Ironbridge Candle Company fragrance oil a few drops at a time before lighting. The wax should remain loose and dry, so only add fragrance gradually and stir gently through the top layer.

How to use
Pour the candle sand into a clean, heat-safe vessel. Add fragrance oil a few drops at a time if desired, then stir gently through the top layer. Insert the wick into the sand, leaving around 1cm visible above the surface, then light.

Once finished, allow the wax to cool fully before removing the used wick and hardened wax disc. Add a fresh wick to reuse the remaining candle sand.
